What inspired you to take the path of divorce mediation?
Â
Although I loved many aspects of practicing law, it was frustrating to always be in an adversarial position instead of a collaborative one. Although some cases are not suited for mediation, mediation is most often in the best interest of both parties. I appreciate how mediation sets both parties free to create solutions that work for them, giving them control over the outcome of their future and setting them up for a more collaborative post-divorce relationship. Divorce is difficult enough without the uncertainty that litigation can bring. I wanted to be a part of the solution, which is why I moved into mediation.

What are your top hobbies? Â

I love reading, hiking, and enjoying all that Colorado has to offer. I am an avid traveler and love all things unique, creative, and out of the ordinary. Most notably though, I love to dance, move, and play. In fact, I’ve taught fitness classes since 1988!
